Zesto in Fort Wayne

Continuing our classic ice cream shoppe series, today we highlight Zesto in Ft. Wayne, IN. There's no need to tell Ft. Wayne residents about this place but out-of-towners need to know what a gem it is. The brilliance of Zesto is that it starts with really quality ice cream and, from there, the sky's the limit. Their online menu can tantalize you with their offerings but, for us, the hot fudge sundae is our favorite pick. They are very generous with the hot fudge and, here's the kicker, if you choose to have a nut topping you don't just get some generic crushed nuts; you get pecans! There are now several locations but, c'mon, you want to go to the original one with soul that has been there for over 50 years at 2225 Broadway.

Even though I went to Carroll High School, I don't remember Zesto. I must have been super lame.

Well, maybe it was more familiar to southsiders.
