Paranormal Fest

On February 21st, there's a Paranormal Festival in Columbus, IN with an appearance by our favorite, Sammy Terry along with Wanda Lou Willis (the author of Haunted Hoosier Trails), and Sci-Fi Channel host Keith Age, among others.

Ah, Sammy Terry...When I was a kid, I would occasionally see him host old campy horror movies and my mom would tell me stories of when she was young, would stay up late regularly to watch him host horror movies.

Oh yea, he's an Indiana icon. Mr. WYA! watched him all the time when he was growing up.

Friday nights on channel 4! It was always a treat to be allowed to stay up late enough to see him. He has to be .. er .. not so young by now.

He is getting on in years. We saw him at the Asylum House around Halloween. He moves a little slower but still looks great and still sounds great.

I loved spending the night at a friend's house so we could watch Sammy Terry - my parents didn't let us watch him. Or anything for that matter - one hour of televison a week. I suck at t.v. trivia -- unless there is a whole Brady Bunch and Partridge Family category.
