Carmel Antique Mall

We love to wander through a good antique mall and Carmel has a great one in the Arts and Design District. Even though stores in this area can get a little pricey, this is a down to earth place to browse with good prices on all kinds of goodies from yesteryear ranging from albums to old kitchen gadgets. Actually, the upstairs corner by the albums is our favorite little nook. It is like an old timey kitchen that you can step right into and imagine that your Grandmother is there baking cookies. Usually, we treat antique malls like museums because we just don't need too many things but we have actually purchased things here as diverse as a Lefton poodle planter and a kitschy paint by numbers painting. Make the Carmel Antique Mall a special destination or just make sure to drop by next time you are walking the northern end of the Monon.
