We are joining the ranks of fans of Danny Boyle's movie, Slumdog Millionaire. There's violence and heartbreak but it is charming and sweet too. Even though it is a chain, it was good to see the Landmark doing such a booming business yesterday. It was really good to see random acts of kindness of people giving up their good seats for strangers. What a really nice start to the new year.
( If you want to hear an energetic soundtrack that's a little Bollywood, a little hip-hop, and very entrancing, be sure to check this one out. We absolutely had to add it to our music library.)

Danny Boyle is really starting to get some recognition, there was a time when I thought that Trainspotting, with it's Iggy Pop driven soundtrack, was going to be it for him. I have not seen Slumdog Millionaire, but do look forward to it.
Ah yes, "Trainspotting"- there's a toilet scene we'll never forget. There's quite an interesting poo scene in Slumdog too which is beyond disgusting but pretty darn funny.
