A staple of Terre Haute music enthusiasts since 1970 (the mural on the wall says 1969, only because the fellow who painted the mural thought it sounded better), Headstone Friends is a place to go for hard to find vinyl, cassette tapes, CDs and more. When you enter the dimly lit little store, the fragrances of the wide variety of incense envelop you. Incense burners, posters, stickers, lighters and all things "hippie related" are available. This store, for seeming so small on the outside, is an amazing place to browse for hours. The employees are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable (most of them have been there a very long time).
Next time you are in Terre Haute, take an hour, browse through the music selection. It's almost like transporting yourself to the seventies.
