Trader Joes find of the week- Honey Whole Wheat Pretzel Sticks

We received some spicy mustard in a gift pack so we picked up these pretzel sticks at Trader Joe's to dip into it. We liked that they were whole wheat and that honey flavor added a perfect touch of sweetness. These are absolutely delicious all on their own.

The nearest Trader Joe's is 63.25 miles away from me, according to Mapquest, so I've never been to one.

I'm wondering if these are Herr's Honey Wheat Braided Twists, privately labeled. The Herr's product consists of three rods, each about 5/32" in diameter twisted together, chopped off at about 2" in length.

Not that it makes much difference, I suppose, since it wouldn't change the distance to Trader Joe's.

The Herr's product is pricey - $6.49 for a 23 ounce package - but very good.

I've been doing some playing around, trying to come up with a recipe that's as good, but I'm not there yet.

I don't know how you get around to all the places you blog about. I'd think it'd be difficult to go to all those places even if you devoted 40 hours a week to it.

I'm glad you do it, though. I really enjoy your blog.

Aw, thanks so much for the kind words Harl. We can't remember what we paid for the pretzel sticks but we'd be glad to ship some to you. We love sharing the goodies that we find here in Central Indiana but we are mindful that every weekend we need to do something new and different or eat somewhere new so we have something "blogworthy" to write about.
