Scenes from... Franklin, IN

What a picturesque, charming college town Franklin is. Our trip to the Artcraft Theatre was our first time visiting Franklin. We got a little turned around and ended up driving through the Franklin College campus with the leaves falling and students hurrying to classes. We're tempted to take some classes there ourselves now. We enjoyed browsing through A Certain Charm, an antique store with lots of goodies including those old timey cookbooks that we like. Also around the courthouse square was beautiful architecture occupied by places like The Saloon Bar and Grill and Benjamin's Coffeeshop and Bakehouse- neither of which we had time to try but that leaves us something to do next time.

Thanks for sharing! I want to head to there when they're showing 'A Christmas Story'. I'll make extra time to explore the town as well. Saloon = awesome. :)
