There's an RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart, Indiana- who knew? We're life long Indiana residents and we didn't know until relatives recently went there and shared this postcard of Mae West's housecar that was presented to her as an enticement to leave vaudeville to make movies for Paramount. The studio provided a driver to take her from her home or a hotel to the set. She even had a small platform on the back where she had a rocker for relaxing. We love old Hollywood so we find it fascinating that this piece of silver screen history is residing in Elkhart.
