Doesn't it seem like so many fun events get piled on the same weekend in June? There are a couple of events that we have greatly enjoyed in past years happening this weekend.
First, there is the 54th & Monon Art Fair (and we bet that you can guess where that takes place) on June 7th and 8th from 10AM-4PM. It's smaller that some of the biggies like the Broad Ripple Art Fair but that is part of its appeal. Plus, it doesn't hurt that they give away free hot dogs and lemonade!
Secondly, there is the Brown County Log Cabin Tour also on both June 7th and 8th. We really envied these homes and the gorgeous surrounding area the year that we went. You pick up your tickets and a map at the tour HQ at the Gazebo on the Village Green and then drive around their well marked roads to the homes.
And that's not even mentioning the Vintage Indiana Wine & Food Festival on June 7th, the Woodruff Place Flea Market on June 7th and 8th, and the Indiana Festival at Conner Prairie on June 7th and 8th.
