Hot and Sour soup from Chow Express

We know that chicken noodle soup is the traditional soup to eat when you have a cold but, when we aren't feeling well, we go for hot and sour soup instead. It gets the sinuses draining and the heat just really hits the spot. When we are in need, we get a quart to go from Chow Express. The broth has a good amount of heat and is a good consistency- not too thick like some we've tried. Thick isn't what we're looking for when our throat hurts. It's full of tofu, egg, veges, mushrooms, and flecks of red pepper. We're not ones to down drugs when we aren't feeling well so this soup is our medicine (plus it is such a tastier way to start feeling better).

I agree! I love the lemongrass spicy soup from Thai Cafe when I'm feeling under the weather.
